What did you first think of your partner? Was it love at first sight?
Karlisa – after our first date, I thought I have to see this man again! It was a deep LIKE, at first sight, lol
Malcolm – Love At first sight. In love before the first date.
How did you decide you were official?
Karlisa – when we started to see each other on a daily.
Malcolm – When I realized I hadn’t slept at my apt in months.
How did you know that your partner was the right one for you?
Karlisa– I knew he was for me when he showed me time after time how I should be treated and it aligned perfectly with how I knew it was supposed to be.

How would you describe the dynamic of your relationship? How would others describe it?
Karlisa – Our relationship is very serious but light, we laugh at each other constantly, thank God arguments are never too serious apologize and move on from. We just have an unspoken indescribable understanding of each other’s feelings.
Malcolm – She’s my best friend. I want to do everything with her. I really just enjoy being with her every day. Can’t wait for my day to be done so I can be with her!

What are some of your partner’s quirks? What are things about your partner that drives you a little crazy — things that only you could love.
Karlisa – In our conversations he always interrupts with random irrelevant questions, not letting me get to the point lol he looooovvvveeessss to talk
Malcolm – She is my boss lol
How did the proposal happen?
Karlisa – At my cousin’s birthday party I was forced to play a pass the balloon game. The music stopped on me, I had to pop the balloon and read the note that fell out. It said will you marry me, I turned around and he was on 1 knee 😭
Malcolm – Proposed at her family house. Surprise!!!
Where do you see yourselves in five years? What are you most looking forward to in your future as a couple?
Karlisa – Hopefully in a house, raising our little one, Malcolm with his own gym and business booming
Malcolm – All of the above, I told you she the boss. We got the same plan!
